Campus Climate Network
From ClimateNetworkWiki
The BC Campus Climate Network is a partnership of climate change and sustainability organizations at high schools, colleges, universities and other education institutions across B.C. We are connecting education institutions and empowering them to help B.C. go beyond climate-neutral as a global leader in climate change planning, policy, and practice.
It aims to unite passionate students across the province and to educate, inspire, engage, and support youth to take climate action on their campuses.
Go Beyond will launch in the fall of 2008.

Working Groups
Present
- The Content Development Working Group is developing the program design for the Go Beyond Project. It has a number of teams that are designing the projects, resources, and tools in the following areas: Beyond Climate-neutral Planning, Transformative Education, Go Beyond Challenges.
Past
It was the hard work and inspiration of many people and working groups over the past year that has brought the Campus Climate Network to where it is now, and the Go Beyond Project to life:
- The Collective Action Working Groups was responsible for strengthening the Network by working on joint campaigns, and was responsible for seeding the Go Beyond Project through the Beyond Climate-neutral Campaign.
- The Governance Working Group has been responsible for developing the decision-making and membership structure of the organization. Learn about the ever-evolving Campus Climate Network Governance Structure and the Go Beyond Governance Structure. This group was meeting on an ad-hoc basis, and the decisions for governance have now been passed to the Go Beyond Planning Committee, with input from network members.
- The Knowledge Base Working Group was responsible for developing and maintaining this website, and looking at other ways to effectively share info within the Network. We invite you to join to help us by adding to the wiki! Check out Wiki Help to get started.
