Commitment: September 2025 - May 2026, with option to renew
Pay: $22.50 / hour
Time commitment: 20 hours / week
CCN Organizers will form the new CCN Baseholding Team. Each organizer will hold relationships with 5-10 student climate justice organizations, coaching, training, and connecting their leaders to resources provided by CCN. CCN Organizers are responsible for steering these member groups through the new national campaign fighting back against the influence of authoritarianism and fossil fuel oligarchs on campus, to be launched in the fall of 2025.
We will hire 2-3 CCN Organizers.
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience on a campus-based campaign rooted in climate justice and/or aligned causes. Alumni of the Campus Climate Network coalition are especially encouraged to apply.
Experience in the labor movement is a appreciated but not required.
Demonstrable experience with coaching, mentoring, and leadership development, ideally in an organizing capacity.
A commitment to climate and environmental justice.
Able to self motivate for independent remote work.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:Regular meetings with leaders of CCN member groups, including coaching sessions and occasional online trainings for member orgs
Regular internal meetings, including weekly team syncs with the rest of the organizers, 1:1s with a manager, and more.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the CCN National Campaign that can be clearly communicated and used to coach leaders of CCN member groups.
Familiarity with CCN’s resources and offerings, connecting students with relevant opportunities.
Advocate for the needs and interests of the CCN member groups the organizer is responsible for in larger organization-wide strategy and priority conversations.
Sit on the CCN Campaign team and contribute to coalition-wide strategy conversations.

Commitment: September 2025 - May 2026
Pay: $1,000 stipend per semester, $250-$1,000 stipend during summer depending on workload and capacity, (eligible for additional $500 need-based per semester/summer)
Time commitment: ~10 hours/week
This position will work closely with the Managing Director to work on press and social media projects. Experience and/or interest in communications or media is preferred.
Qualifications:At least one semester of experience on a campus-based campaign rooted in climate justice and/or aligned causes. Current members of the Campus Climate Network coalition are especially encouraged to apply.
A commitment to climate and environmental justice.
Experience with social media management and/or design is required.
Experience with press work is appreciated but not required.
Able to self motivate for independent remote work. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Experience with Slack, Google Drive, Canva, etc.
Applicants must be current college students or have graduated within the past 2 academic years.
Responsibilities:
Works with the Managing Director to develop social media campaigns and executes them across platforms including Instagram, X, and more.
Works with the Managing Director on to gain press coverage for days of action, campaign launches, moments of rapid response, and more. .
Uses ActionNetwork to assist with writing and sending emails, creating events, and managing the CCN contact list.
Completes miscellaneous tasks related to CCN’s press and media in a timely manner.
Provide press and media support to coalition members

Commitment: September 2025-August 2027
Pay: $500 stipend per semester, $250 stipend per summer (eligible for additional $500 need-based per semester/summer)
Time commitment: 2-3 hours / month (one 90 min meeting, outside projects, responsiveness on slack)
The Finance & Operations Committee Members will join a dedicated team of students and recent grads working to make our fundraising and budget align with our strategic direction and goals.
Qualifications:
At least one semester of experience on a campus-based campaign rooted in climate justice and/or aligned causes. Current members of the Campus Climate Network coalition are especially encouraged to apply.
A commitment to climate and environmental justice.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience with budgets, organizational finance, and fundraising appreciated but not required.
Applicants must be current college students or have graduated within the past 2 academic years.
Responsibilities:
The Finance & Operations (F&O) Committee is the other coordinating body for CCN (Planning Committee only has so much capacity). It is made up of elected members and application-based members.
The F&O Committee is responsible for budget approval, fiscal sponsor-related questions, grant applications, and anything else related to funding
F&O Committee members attend F&O calls once per month to weigh in on the day-to-day financial and operational priorities of Campus Climate Network.
Members are responsible for approving the CCN yearly budget.
Members also participate in projects related to accounting, fundraising, etc. on an as-needed basis.

Campus Climate Network (CCN) is building power in the student climate movement. We are building a coalition of student-led climate justice groups fighting to cut ties with the fossil fuel industry and its enablers. We provide students with the training, resources, and connections they need to run winning campaigns on campus and become the next generation of climate justice leaders.
Campus Climate Network is fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation (d.b.a. Hack Club), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 81-2908499).
Please note that all positions will occasionally require availability outside of conventional Monday-Friday 9-5 hours in order to accommodate various student schedules and time zones of coalition members. All positions are fully remote with some in-person opportunities.
